02/06/2004: Due to popular demand, the US publication schedule for release of Song of Susannah and The Dark Tower have been moved ahead. The on-sale date for Song of Susannah will now be June 8, 2004 and The Dark Tower will be available September 21, 2004.

05/13/2003: The release date for Dark Tower V: Wolves of the Calla is Novemeber 4, 2003. You can pre-order from Amazon.com today.

An electronic only novella, Riding the Bullet, is now available. Amazon.com (among others) is carrying it. (There may be techinical difficulties with the download.)

Stephen King was hit by a van on June 19, 1999 and was in serious condition, with a broken hip and other problems. On July 9, he was released from the hospital. He has since bought the van that hit him and plans on destroying it with a sledgehammer.

There is a Dark Tower short story, called Sisters of Eluria in the collection Legends .

The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon is available in hardback and audio cassette.

King's novel Bag of Bones is available in paperback, hardback, and audio cassette.

The Storm of the Century screenplay is available in print.

Dark Tower 4: Wizard & Glass is available in trade paperback. Desperation is available in paperback and hardback. The Regulators, by Stephen King writing as Richard Bachman, is available in paperback, hardback and audio cassette. The paperback of the combined The Green Mile is available.

The Green Mile movie, by the same people who brought us The Shawshank Redemption, is in theaters now. It stars Tom Hanks as Paul Edgecombe.
