Mom's Cranberry Almond Biscotti

Christmas treat.
Ingredients
2 1/2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
2 eggs
2 egg whites
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup sliced almonds
6 ounces dried cranberries
Directions
Combine dry ingredients.
Whisk together eggs, egg whites, and vanilla in a separate bowl.
Add to dry ingredients.
Mix on medium speed until moist.
Add cranberries and almonds.
On floured surface, divide batter in half and pat into 14" x 1 1/2" logs.
Bake on cookie sheet for 30 minutes at 325 degrees.
Cut into 1/2" slices.
Stand upright and bake an additional 20 minutes.
Store in loosely covered container.
